Valculus delivers the software element of its products and services under a client service and licensing agreement - the ‘CSL’. The software provision contains three common elements:

Core simulation software

Our ValueSim modules and bespoke ValueSims are all built in ‘best of breed’ software simulation products. Our prime software partners are:

IThink from Isee Systems Inc - System Dynamics simulation software

Broadcast from Forio Inc - Web-based simulation and interface software

We use other selected suppliers for the provision of data presentation and visualisation. In addition all our products are Microsoft compatible.

Our CSL agreement includes standard (or ‘back to back’) agreement with each software supplier.

ValueSim modules are provided to clients from our knowledge bank. The specific modules and related knowledge material are licensed under intellectual property and copyright terms contained in the CSL agreement covering:

• ValueSim module & knowledge ‘definition’
• Ownership rights
• Ongoing support & update
• Standard IP & copyright terms.

Where a bespoke ValueSim is required, a separate development agreement is included with the CSL agreement.

Our ValueSim module agreement includes ongoing membership of our executive forum for future knowledge sharing and client information exchange.

Technical implementation

 Valculus provides consulting services for both ValueSim modules and bespoke ValueSims under its CSL. The ValueSim implementation process has been proven over numerous client assignments and covers:

• Software requirements and specification
• Training needs anlaysus and delivery
• Bespoke ValueSim development
• Project management and facilitation
• Acceptance testing and hand over
• Ongoing technical support and advice.
